News from Dan Lynch Apostolates

Your own soul a sword shall pierce, that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”
(Luke 2:35).

June 12th is the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. As Christ’s heart was pierced on the Cross in death, Mary’s Immaculate Heart was pierced in spirit, fulfilling the prophecy of Simeon (Luke 2:22-35) and showing the unique mystical union of the heart of Jesus with the heart of Mary in the work of our redemption. This union of the Two Hearts continues to offer salvation and sanctification to mankind today.

June 11th is the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. St. Margaret Mary said that the Sacred Heart of Jesus appeared to her. She wrote, “He showed me that it was His great desire of being loved by men and of withdrawing them from the path of ruin into which Satan hurls such crowds of them, that made Him form the design of manifesting His Heart to men, with all the treasures of love, of mercy, of grace, of sanctification and salvation which it contains, in order that those who desire to render Him and procure for Him all the honor and love possible, might themselves be abundantly enriched with those divine treasures of which this Heart is the source.”

The Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ

O God, who in this wonderful Sacrament have left us a memorial of your Passion, grant us, we pray, so to revere the sacred mysteries of your Body and Blood that we may always experience in ourselves the fruits of your redemption. Who live and reign with God the Father in the unity of the Holy Spirit, on God, for ever and ever. ~Collect of the Mass

On Sunday, June 6, 2021, we will celebrate our 30th anniversary and the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi in Latin) in honor of the institution of the sacrament of the Eucharist by Jesus at His Last Supper.

May 31 is the Feast of The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She made her first Visitation to a town of Judah. She was pregnant and St. Elizabeth, her elderly, pregnant cousin, greeted her and cried out with joy, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should visit me?” (Luke 1:42-43).

May 24 is the Feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church. During the Second Vatican Council, Pope Paul VI pronounced that Mary was the “Mother of the Church.” He made the pronouncement during his speech upon the closing of the third session of the Second Vatican Council on November 21, 1964. He said, “For the glory of the Virgin and our consolation, we proclaim Mary the Most Holy Mother of the Church, that is, the Mother of the whole People of God, both the faithful and the pastors.” Pope Francis confirmed this title in 2018.

Sunday, May 23 is Pentecost Sunday. On the first Pentecost, nine days after Jesus had ascended into heaven, Mary and the apostles were gathered in prayer in the cenacle, the upper room of the Last Supper. Suddenly a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind that filled the house and tongues as of fire appeared and rested on each of one of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

At the sound of the wind, a multitude of Jews from many nations who spoke many languages gathered outside. The timid apostles were transformed, boldly came out and courageously preached to the Jews as the Spirit led them. All of the Jews miraculously understood them in their own native language.

May 13th  is the 104th anniversary of the first apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. On May 13, 1917, during World War I, the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared at Fatima, Portugal, to three shepherd children. On May 13, 2010, Pope Benedict XVI said at Fatima,  "At a time  [World War I] when the human family was ready to sacrifice all that was most sacred on the altar of the petty and selfish interests of nations, races, ideologies, groups and individuals, our  Blessed Mother came from heaven, offering to implant in the hearts of all those who trust in her the love of God burning in her own heart.…" (Homily at Fatima, May 13, 2010).

St. Damien de Veuster

Into a living graveyard came Father Damien De Veuster, a former Belgian farm boy who became a priest in the Congregation of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary. He came to serve a life sentence, since living with other islanders was forbidden once he went to live with the lepers.

Father wrote, “I am bent on devoting my life to the lepers. It is absolutely necessary for a priest to live here. The afflicted are coming here by the boatloads.” For the next 16 years, Father Damien taught the lepers to farm, to raise animals, to play musical instruments and to sing. He organized a choir and a band. He restored their sense of human dignity. He was a skilled carpenter and he taught the lepers to build everything from cottages to coffins. He reverenced the dead and fenced the cemetery to protect the graves from the animals. He organized the lepers into the Christian Burial Association to provide funerals and decent burials for the dead. He ministered to the sick bodies and administered the sacraments for their souls. He was not afraid to touch them, even though he finally caught the disease and died from it by doing so.

St. Damien's feast day is May 10.

The Feast of St. Joseph the Worker is celebrated on May 1 in this Year of St. Joseph. The Feast was instituted by Pope Pius XII in order to impress on our minds the dignity of human work and the principles according to which it should be carried on. He chose St. Joseph as the model and helper of all workers.

From the example of St. Joseph, we should learn that we work in obedience to God’s command for our earthly needs while at the same time hoping to attain our heavenly reward. He who took care of the Holy Family by his skill and labor will not fail to extend his help and protection to his co-workers.

April 28 is the feast day of St. Louis Marie Grignion de Montfort, a missionary priest in 18th century France who requested Catholics to make their Total Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

At Medjugorje, on August 2, 1983, Our Lady echoed the request of St. Louis and requested the visionary Jelena and the prayer group to, “Consecrate yourselves to the Immaculate Heart. Abandon yourself totally….” If we follow her request, we will be transformed by Our Lady into other Christs and the True Apostles of the Latter Times in order to protect us from chastisements and to prepare the world for its purification, the defeat of the pride of Satan, the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Era of Peace that she promised in her apparitions at Fatima, Portugal, in 1917.

Maryanne O’Toole of Park Ridge, New Jersey, was the Guardian of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe with her husband Jim last Spring. She sent me her delayed Good News Report and wrote, “Please accept my most sincere apologies for the delay in getting this report to you. I endured many problems with the software that complicated the completion of my report. In my opinion the devil was very hard at work. There is great merit in completing the report. One spends time looking back and contemplating all that has transpired during the visit. In Luke 2:19 we read  ‘But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.’ We learn from our heavenly Mother that it is good to ponder things and treasure them!”

So let us ponder and treasure Maryann’s report. Read more HERE.

It was on April 7, 1994, only 27 years ago, that almost a million Rwandans were killed in a genocide in just a few short months. The Hutu-majority government directed killings that primarily targeted the ethnic minority Tutsis. The Blessed Virgin Mary had previously warned them of this conditional chastisement if the Rwandans refused to respond to her request for people to “listen and come back to God.”

In 1981, Mary began appearing in Church-approved apparitions at Kibeho, Rwanda. She emphasized the call to pray the Rosary and asked for penance and fasting, similar to her requests at Fatima and Medjugorje.

COVID-19 and the Beginning of the Chastisements

One year ago, in his March 18, 2020 message, Jesus King of All Nations revealed a message to His Secretary, the woman mystic of the Jesus King All Nations Devotion. He said, “What you see happening around you is the beginning of the chastisements foretold by me to correct the conscience of mankind.” In my opinion, Jesus was referring to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jesus led his Secretary to the Scripture, “Be watchful! I have told it all to you beforehand." (Mark 13:23).

Is Mary a Co-Redemptrix?

On March 24, at a General Audience, Pope Francis referred to the Blessed Virgin Mary as a Mother, “to whom Jesus entrusted us, all of us; but as a Mother, not as a goddess, not as co-redeemer: as Mother.” (Source).

The remark of Pope Francis that Mary is not a “co-redeemer” is not a magisterial teaching of the Church. The Pope said that Jesus entrusted us to the Mother of God “as a Mother, not as a goddess, not as co-redeemer.” There are no magisterial statements that Mary was “a goddess”, which would be blasphemous, and none of the faithful and no theologian has ever claimed that.

St. John Paul II declared a new mission for America. He said, “Now is the time of the New Evangelization to lead the People of God in America to cross the threshold of the third millennium with renewed hope. I ask Our Lady of Guadalupe to visit every diocese and parish in America. May she cross this continent bringing it life, sweetness and hope!’”

In answer to his request, the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe crossed our continent through-out 2020 with many Masses and hours of adoration, Rosaries and veneration. Reconciliations, healings, conversions and signs and wonders resulted from these fruitful Visitations.

The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe is the Great Sign depicted in chapter 12 of the Book of Revelation. She is the pregnant Virgin Mother of God, clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and a crown of stars on her head. She acts as a Mother who protects unborn children from death. As such, she is commonly called the “Protectress of the Unborn.” The late Mexican Cardinal Juan Posadas, who blessed the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, referred to her under this title.

By the 1850s, during the Second Empire under Napoleon III (1852–1870), the Secularist fruits of the French revolutions led many French people to believe in Scientism and to disbelieve in miracles, especially miraculous healings.

Scientism is the ideology and belief that only science can explain the truth and reality of creation. This statement is a self-refutation of itself. Science cannot prove the statement. This judgment in no way undermines real science, but helps to keep it within the boundaries of its own field of knowledge.

Science can only explain the “how” of material creation through the scientific method of investigation, observation, experimentation, testing, analysis and conclusions. Science cannot explain anything that transcends the material world such as the supernatural realities of God, angels, saints and miracles nor the natural realities that are not material such as goodness, truth, beauty and love.

Bishop Robert W. McElroy of San Diego recently said, “I do not see how depriving the President or other political leaders of Eucharist based on their public policy stance can be interpreted in our society as anything other than the weaponization of Eucharist and an effort not to convince people by argument and by dialogue and by reason, but, rather, to pummel them into submission on the issue [of abortion].”

Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City said, “Integrity requires that a Catholic not receive the Eucharist while acting in a manner incoherent with fundamental Catholic teaching.” An example of a Catholic “acting in a manner incoherent with fundamental Catholic teaching” would be President Biden’s public promotion and funding of abortion.

Are the Storm Clouds of a Civil War Looming over America?

From the mass media reports, it appears that there are storm clouds of a Civil War of morals and values in our culture looming over America.

The division in our culture is between the proponents of a Culture of Life and the proponents of a Culture of Death. There are acts of a civil culture war from the proponents of a Culture of Death that include the “canceling” of a Culture of Life, vandalism of statues, violence in the streets, boycotting, and employment and social media terminations.

Jane Schiano Wigutow, of Huntington, New York, Guardian of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, sent me the report below by a family who hosted a COVID-19 Visitation to them.

On June 1st, our lives were brightened with the holy Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  After months of quarantine, and postponement of our son’s Baptism, halted visits with our parents and extended family, more intimate birthday celebrations, our own family Easter celebration, watching Mass on the television, there was a light that shined and came forth in our lives.  Our dear friend Jane brought Our Lady to us.  We were so fortunate to be blessed with her presence.

Pope Francis reportedly said, “Homosexuals have a right to be a part of the family. They’re children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out, or be made miserable because of it.” … “What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered. I stood up for that.”

The Pope’s remarks, reported by the Catholic News Agency, came from Francesco, a documentary on his life and ministry which premiered yesterday, October 21.

In April, 1957, Our Lady of America told the visionary, Sister Mildred, “Unless my children reform their lives, they will suffer great persecution. If man himself will not take upon himself the penance necessary to atone for his sins and those of others, God in his justice will have to send upon him the punishment necessary to atone for his transgressions.”

Most of the bishops in the United States have issued mandates refusing to the faithful the option of receiving Holy Communion on the tongue.

Curiously, I have not read in any bishop’s mandate the source of the authority for his mandate. After researching the issue, I learned that they actually have no authority whatsoever to issue a mandate refusing the faithful the option of receiving Holy Communion on the tongue.

There are many rioters, looters and shooters in the streets throughout America. The American media presents a picture of the worst elements of our current culture. The Irish poet W. B. Yeats prophesied this picture in his 1919 poem, The Second Coming. He wrote,

Things fall apart; the center cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Jane Wigutow, of Huntington, New York, Guardian of the Missionary Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, sent me a report of a recent Visitation of the Missionary Image that she hosted during the height of the Covid-19 lock-down, when the Image was displayed on her lawn and in her home. One of the visitors to her home, wrote her the following testimony.

Dear Jane,

Brian was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018, after having a biopsy of his prostate.  He was put on active surveillance and getting checked regularly.  He had an MRI which showed a new spot had formed. They wanted to biopsy the area and other parts of the prostate. When the corona virus set in, appointments were rescheduled which worried me that he would have to wait longer.  Finally, a date was set in late April.

 Do Not Be Afraid!

As I drove to St. Joseph Church in Erie, I prayed that God would have someone there to help me pack the Missionary Image up and carry it out to my car.  Over the many years I have been a Guardian of Our Lady, I have moved the Image myself, but having assistance is always a blessing!  As I walked into the church, there were about 50 minutes remaining before Adoration would conclude. So, I thought, good time to pray the Rosary with Our Lady and Our Lord together!

In 1976, St. John Paul II, when he was Cardinal Karol Wojtyla, was in the United States at the Eucharistic Congress in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, for the bicentennial celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. In his address, he warned us, “We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has ever experienced. I do not think that the wide circle of the American society, or the whole wide circle of the Christian community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the Gospel and the anti-Gospel, between Christ and the Antichrist. The confrontation lies within the plans of Divine Providence. It is, therefore, in God's plan, and it must be a trial which the Church must take up, and face courageously.”
